Ameco AC-1 Ozarkcon 2012 Special Prize
Donated by Frank Henrikson, KLSW

This is an original unbuilt Ameco AC-1 kit from the 1950's. This little transmitter is very rare, has a large following, and original kits are highly treasured. They have been out out of production for decades, and a modern clone costs $100 plus shipping. This kit is in excellent condition, no rust anywhere and it appears that all the parts are still in the original boxes. Here is a PDF scan of the actual included AC-1 Manual. Please refer to the pictures below.

It is Mr. Henrikson's wish that the kit be auctioned off with the proceeds going to Four State. We will conduct the auction during the Saturday afternoon prize drawing session, and will apply the proceeds to reduce OzarkCon 2012 expenses. Please come prepared to bid on this wonderful piece of Amateur radio history.
